Meeting with Fieldston Teachers

Preparation

This is our first HSCCCC meeting. In this committee, we talk about larger inter-school solutions to combating climate change. Our main focus now is on electric school buses.

We have support from the Riverdale administration.

Notes

• Fieldston had switched from Supertrans to another provider for biodiesel. However, biodiesel is inferior to electricity.

• Faculty heads to speak with

  • Mr. Kyle Wilkie-Glass

    • Head of school who is pro-sustainability

  • Mr. Waldman - faculty member in the meeting.

• Use Tess as liaison with faculty

  • Transportation head

  • Parent fundraising from Fieldston

• Get an educated student representative from Fieldston for the Hill Schools meeting.

• Start student petition there

• Explain plan
